The LaMotte Spin Lab is a laboratory-grade photometer that now rides on every El Dorado Pools service route. With a single sealed disc of your pool water, the Spin Lab measures your complete water profile in about 60 seconds with incredible accuracy, far beyond what strips or drop kits can deliver.
But we didn't stop at better testing. Every Spin Lab result feeds directly into an automatic dosing calculator that takes your exact tested values and your pool's exact water volume, and generates precise chemical dosages, removing human error from the equation entirely.

How is this different from the testing you were doing before?
Traditional methods like test strips and liquid drop kits rely on visual color matching, which introduces variability and a meaningful margin of error. The Spin Lab uses precise photometric measurement in a sealed disc, which eliminates fading reagents, lighting conditions, and interpretation differences between technicians.
What does the Spin Lab test for?
Your complete water profile, including free and total chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid (stabilizer), and more. Instead of a partial picture, we see everything that affects your water's balance and stability.
